It is a fantastic park with a fabulous flying fox and a section where remote model car races are held every second weekend, a great bike track if you'd like to bring a bike. Join Anna for drinks in the Highway bar at 630pm followed by dinner at 730pm in the adjacent Portico Italian Restaurant. Join Grahame for a fun afternoon on the courts. Come along for a hit and a giggle, all standards of players welcome, we will match players up according to ability. Please bring your own racquet and balls if you have them. CTC has ten synthetic grass courts on three levels in the southern portion of Fred Caterson Reserve. There is an under cover BBQ area with extensive lawn surrounds. Please bring your own refreshments and makings for a sausage sizzle at the end of play. Cost is $10 per member. Dads — and mums — who won’t be with their children at Luna Park this Fathers Day, join us at the Manly Wharf Hotel for a long lunch on your special day. If the weather is good we will sit outside overlooking the water; if not we will be inside. Please come on time as the hotel does not take bookings and we won’t be able to guarantee a prime spot for latecomers. After lunch we can take a walk to Shelley Beach, browse the markets or walk along the harbour foreshore, or just sit in the sun and chat at this beautifully relaxed venue.

Blue Mountains Bush Walk

Enjoy the natural beauty of the Blue Mountains bush and scenery. Look out for native flora and fauna. Don't forget your camera. This is an easy walk requiring some stamina and a reasonable level of fitness. Children who want to join in must be able to walk all day. Bring along your picnic lunch and plenty of water. Want a Friday night out where it's OK to take the kids? Come along to the Lane Cove West Bowling Club for an informal evening of pizza and drinks at club prices. We usually order a gourmet pizza from Zapparelli's across the road and have it delivered to the Club. Children are welcome and there's a large grassed area outside for them to play while the adults catch up with other adults at the end of the week. The Club closes at about 8.30pm when it's time to either take the kids home to bed or party on somewhere else.
