Getting started

At Single with Children we encourage any single parent wishing to find out what the group has to offer, to come along to our functions.You are welcome to bring along a friend or two. To find out more information about upcoming functions check our Newsletter page.

Come along and meet other single parents who are just like you, and are seeking to make the most of their circumstances. We offer new friendship and support that may help you and your children. Many of our members have made lasting friendships with other single parents.

We are happy to answer any questions you may have about the group.

Membership

Membership of the Single with Children is open to any single parent, subject to the Rules and Regulations.

Membership cost $40 per year with a $5 joining fee.  

Fees help to pay for administration, printing of the newsletter and other expenses. Some children's activities are subsidised by Single with Children and the funding of these comes from adult function fees.

We are entirely self funded and receive no government subsidies. All functions and activities are organised and hosted by volunteers.
